About PCF

Our Mission

The Palmetto Conservative Fund (PCF) has been established to find and financially assist conservative candidates in South Carolina state and local elections.  The aim is to put the conservative values of South Carolina back into elected offices to ensure the freedoms afforded under the United States and South Carolina Constitutions remain firmly supported by those elected offices.

Our Focus

One major issue in local politics is those qualified conservatives who desire to run for politics have financial limitations, many times causing a barrier for to run for office.  PCF has ONE main benefit for qualified candidates…to provide various amounts of funding for their respective positions.  The three political positions PCF will focus on in the first 2-5 years are the Greenville County School Board, Greenville County Council and City Councils in Travelers Rest, Simpsonville, Greer and Taylors.  Each candidate will be formally “qualified” by the PCF Board.

The qualification will include completion of a questionnaire focused on their political knowledge and/or their passion and desire to make appropriate changes in their elected position.  Additionally, this will include interviews.  There will be more weight given to candidates most likely to win their race.  The financial contribution will generally be from $2k-$5k, with potential exceptions made for certain races depending on the amount of available PCF dollars.

Since PCF is financially investing in candidates, each one chosen will be provided with campaign guidelines and suggestions pertaining to their position.  The outline of suggestions/guidelines will be proven as effective by prior winning candidates.  This will provide the best opportunity for success in their race
